THE BEATS The beats used for each track definitely have an ATL/FL TRAP music influence. Everything from the heavy base to the repetitive undertone of the loops give a sensual bounce that can’t be ignored by the listener. A few surprises in the intros consist of more string and piano tones with less bass. In example, Pink & Yellow Roses and So Long start with these gentle string and wind loops then the beat drops into the bass, yet keeps a balance of bass and hi-hat loops. THE LYRICS The lyrics of each song are an emotional roller coaster of the ups and downs pertaining to dating and relationships. These relationships span from familial to romantic to business related. Common topics like partying under the influence, ghosting, money, popularity and trust issues grace the tracks with smooth vocal tones. VOCALS The vocal tone from song to song is very steady. Each song can easily be mistaken for the last one that was played if the acapella versions were in rotation. The songs' catchy autotuned vocals mesmerize the listener under the influence of today's Trap music scene. I do see this album's mellowed vocals setting the mood for popular gentlemen’s clubs and speakeasys. Naturally, an artist progresses and challenges their art to bring variety to their tones, lyrics and fanbase with each new album. I believe Moosiewins has yet to tap his true potential as a musical artist. He has tested the waters with his current fan base but he is definitely capable of more than just Trap music. I know his next album will move more than just influencer impressions, but will also move hearts across all listeners. Smell The Roses by Moosiewins is available on all streaming platforms. THE HOUSE THAT SHEENA BUILT.SS House of Couture, affectionately known as ‘SS HOC’ is the holy grail of couture fashion. The SS HOC line is the love spring of designer-stylist Ms. Sheena Cruz. The name pays homage to her two daughters Soraiya and Shayla, giving purpose to the line’s legacy. SS HOC began as Dollhouse Couture in November 2013 as an haute couture line that graced the bodies of Erica Jean (LHH), R&B Singer Resia (@resiamusic), Michelle (PNB Show), R&B Singer Ensavi, model Jolie Dacosta, and urban artist Dynasty The King. Though the line was well sought after for celebrity closets, Sheena decided to transform Dollhouse Couture from just fashion into a legacy of creativity in SS House of Couture in 2017. SS House of Couture bursts with vibrant color, lavish embezzlements and living works of artistry that can be customized to any client’s liking. The line plays with fabric mix-matching such as chiffon and denim or patchwork on leather to enhance the visual experience of these traffic stopping looks! The versatility of the line’s sweaters and jackets breaks gender & class codes, offering an urban look by day or a sporty chic look by night for men and women. Custom dresses and accessories flow and contour all body shapes and sizes, creating looks of elegance and graced with female empowerment. SS House of Couture items have been seen on the covers of Industry Rules Magazine (August 2015) and Fashion Gxd Magazine (February 2019, Summer 2019). Sheena was a sought-after panelist for the May 2019 Essence of a Boss by Essence Magazine and continues to speak at prominent entrepreneur events. SS House of Couture hosts a minimum of three Pop-Ups around New York City to engage and break bread with dedicated consumers and supporters. SS HOC was a requested participant for Miami’s 2018 Art Basel and returning at this year’s Art Basel from December 5th – 8th, showing the latest line. SS HOC is hosting its 1st Annual SS Fashion Expo in May 2021. There are vendor, sponsor, art dealers and designer opportunities available via request to info@scubedproductionsinc.com The SS House of Couture included more transformations toward Sheena’s commitment to “Bringing your vision to life through thread & style” by expanding services from video/photoshoot styling to include designer consultation and red-carpet event wardrobe design. The SCP Quarterly: 2019 Q4 ... by She Rah on Scribd The SCP Quarterly: 2019 Q3 The Sake of the Future by She Rah on Scribd “Ever since I can remember, I used to admire my grandmother and mother’s creative spirit while making party dresses and always think how I wanted to one day follow in their footsteps. I started Nina Nunez two years ago when I wanted to do something creative with my daughter at my mother’s factory in the NYC garment district. One day my daughter and I started putting fabrics and trimmings together and made a clutch. I fell in love with the process. Now we use recycled fabric to make unique bags, many which are one of a kind and all limited edition. Each bag is handmade with attention to details and filled with lots of love. What started out as a hobby turned into my passion!!” -Nina Nunez Instagram @msninanunez 2019 Q2 of The SCP Quarterl... by on Scribd It’s Thursday, March 28th, 2019 in Brooklyn NYC …. be careful, you could get whacked! MsPenny Saintil and her public relations company, Music Speaks Power P.R., organized a smashing event that brought out all of the top entertainers and media outlets to catch the #MobMentality vibe in motion.
The creator of the show, Isis Djata, along with cast members, held a pre-launch party event at Legends Bar & Grill in Marine Park, Brooklyn, to take us on a tour of “Mob Mentality” and featured an exclusive preview of the series’ newest trailer. Djata, a New York native and law school graduate of West African descent, also wrote and directed “Mob Mentality,” which is set in Staten Island, New York. We also got to discuss the “Let’s Make A Mob Show” crowd-funding campaign. The goal is to raise $50,000 to finish filming the pilot episode. We were able to purchase original Mob Mentality paraphernalia and have one on one Q&A in this family affair of a night! We learned that the show centers around Carmine “Car” Ponte Jr. (played by Jack S. – even more of a hottie in person!), the son of a reputed mobster who sets out to rebuild his life after his release from a federal prison. But a chain of events immediately thrusts him back into a life of crime. The only crime was how many hearts Jack stole on Thursday night. And let’s not for get the rest of the cast that swooned the crowd with smiles, hugs, kisses and in song! Yes, Jack C. blessed us with a Roadhouse favorite and he had the entire place foot stomping. And we can’t forget the memorable performance by Lea Robinson of First Family of Hip Hop, who also makes an appearance on the show! In one of the many dear heart to hearts she had with the Mob Mentality Family, Djata said the timing is perfect for a new mob show, and the public will devour what the program has to offer. Following the grit and loyalty struggles from ‘The Godfather Series’ to the ‘Sapranos’, Djata says “This is the time for Mob Mentality,”. “We waited over ten years for the next great American mob show, and Mob Mentality is that show.” “What makes Mob Mentality different,” she continued? “You never seen a show where you have the lead actor as a psychologist by day, and a mobster by night. I’m the first one to do it.” The show’s storyline was so compelling to co-star Mike Taverna — who’s also a promising professional wrestler by the name of Mike Verna — that he couldn’t resist auditioning for it. So, you have a guy moonlighting at night as a killer, and by day he’s talking to troubled teens. I think this is something viewers are going to want to see. They’re going to think it’s interesting.” But, wait, there’s more! A classic Italian spread was catered by Seraphin Catering and hit the sweet, herbal flavorful spots of everyone’s taste buds. The house DJ made sure the dancing vibe was in the air as we all joined the great Mob Mentality Family! The sponsored liquor poured, the cameras flashed on Phoenix Media Groups CEO Chris Phoenix, Jesse Brown of Hustle in Brooklyn & Black Enterprise’s Selena Hill. Even though there was at least $100k in giveaways and Swag de Rueville provided by S Cubed Productions, L.L.C., some family secrets are to the grave! Had to be there to see if you’re worthy of the Mob Mentality Family, unless you caught a hint of the vibe via NY1 News, and other major media outlets.
