Mahia, is an alcoholic beverage, made entirely from fermented figs, dates, or grapes and seasoned only with herbs -generally Anise. Mahia was traditionally made by theJews in Morocco. The Master Distiller's father, is actually a legend in Taznakht since hewas the last Jew to remain after the Jewish exodus in the late 1950s and early1960s. We are so excited to now carry on this tradition in this country.
