On December 8, 2016 Resorz Media and Friends were on a mission to give back to Haiti in STYLE. We at well from the kitchen of Mikes Corner Deli & Fashion Addicts! The stage was set for Unexplained Nature, Handsum's Closet & Too Cute Couture! Take a look at some of the designer profiles! Amber-Nicole Walker Designer/Owner Unexplained Nature, where freedom and clothing collide! For many, fashion is a form of expression. For us, fashion is art and emotion. The world as we know it today often lacks originality. Different fashion trends and fads are created and worn religiously. Then, those ideas are dumped and the cycle continues. Therefore, we have put personality in every stitch of our garments to give you what you deserve: Creativity. We thank you for showing our pieces some love and we have worked endlessly to give you taste and affordability. We hope you enjoy our pieces as much as we enjoyed making them. Briana Bryden Desinger/Owner Creative and extraordinary are the words that best describes me. When I was a little girl I always knew that I had a special talent that made me different from my siblings. My friends and teachers always said that I have a creative mind, but I wasn’t sure how to put that skill into good use. That’s when I decided to set out on a creative journey. I’ve tried many different activities to find my “black girl magic” such as: poetry, story writing, dance and art, but none sparked my interested. Although I am a jack of all trades nothing stuck to my soul. As I got older I started to advance in my sketches, and with each sketch, I started to become more detailed in my design and started to perfect my craft. With each stroke of my color pencil I got excited and compelled to draw more. I figured out that this was my special talent that made me different from the rest. This aspire me to begin my own line, called “BERROYAL”. I want to showcase my different designs all around the world to show young girls that you don’t have to only be beautiful but feel beautiful. I cannot really say this is the end of my life story, but the beginning of a new journey into a new world of fashion frenzy and fashion dreams. I hope you can see vibrant colors and a life story through the textures of my drawings.“I love fashion and am not afraid to deviate from the norm.” Damon Gatling Designer/Owner Handsum's Closet was born in the heart of NYC. It was orginally called Handsum Hustler, but Damon wanted to expand the brand beyond just a simple street hustler with good looks. This company is established to bring positive reinforcement to our youth through fashion. Handsum stands for Hands = the Sum of your work. We have to work.We have to Hustle. Damon wanted to provide high fashion clothing for the young Black & Latino communites that encourage them to value themselves, let alone life. Handsum's Closet has been coined with phrases and images that uplift the black and brown people, urging them to cherish life. From street style to the runway, Handsum's Closet is only in the infantile stages of it's growth and we will see so much more! All photos are credited to XL Motorsports www.extremelincoln.com
