Fashion Fades, Only STYLE remains the same - Coco Chanel
The first Showcase consisted of fashion lines from PRITI BALI, VICTOR HOU, SAPIRA, ETERNAL REIGN LDN, DENEUF CLOTHING, KEGGY PRINSTKER, DEFINITIONS BY DEAN and TAI NEW YORK. The second Showcase had lines from OGO NEW YORK, DEANNA ANSARA, CHARLES A COUTURE, JERRI READ, POETIC RHYTHEM, LOULOU NAFI, JINXED APOSED, NIKKI ANGELIQUE and AULIO BY CEASAR. The last but far from lease Showcase held lines from RAY VINCENT, PARIS LAPIN COUTURE, BUNNI BENTON, VIRTUOUS VESSELS, AP FOR WOMEN, RENE HILL, ARIANA CORSINO NY and PERFECT POPULATION. Whew, what a line up of amazing designers!
Keggy Pritsker was a collaboration that caught my eyes with a fresh play on colors and traditional pea coats. The line favored the early 1940's century style buttons and set pastels into color blocking against darker shades. Denuf Clothing favored the use of chiffon and silk printed dresses with a play on patterns.
NBC's head stylist stated she was in attendance to see Priti Balli's line that catered to the business woman that loves a bit of pop culture. We saw flow easy dresses with chiffon type material insets, Aladin cut pants, surprising detachable pieces that can be worn as a petticoat or skirt, racer jackets and shorts and long sleeve belly tops for the adventure in you.
Tai NY collected "oooo's and ahhhhh's" from attendees with Tinkerbell cut dresses and minis, printed color blocking, and pop culture color fusion. One not so flattering piece was a two piece romper (could have just been the model).
None the less, SCP enjoyed the show! More to come!
