That is the Price you Pay for the Life you Choose

Radio personality, playwright and actor AR Garcia is one truly magnificent transparent individual. I had the pleasure of meeting him for an interview at Red Rooster in Harlem. We spoke of his upcoming stage play 'I Love Them All' for the ONE FESTIVAL located at Teatro LATEA 107 Suffolk St, NYC, NY. 

His play was about a very accomplished litigation lawyer of Hispanic decent who has a problem with several private addictions. He is fully functional, but seeks out a therapist that hosts Skype sessions to help him. Garcia wrote and is the star of the play. Garcia predicted that his play will touch every emotional chord we have in our hearts and minds within the 28 minutes of his play. 

Being a writer is his nature and he didn't expect to star in the play. I couldn't think of anyone better to portray the character other than Garcia. Garcia is a humble knowledgeable individual. He expresses such knowledge through his creative writing. We also learned that he prefers to write in silence, no phone that is, and usually at the insomnia hours of night. 

By the end of our interview, I was convinced he would be the winner of the ONE FESTIVAL. And yes he did win! Take a look at the video below!
