So I have a Man Child in the "Promised Land", yet the only promise that I can make Him is that the system set up in this land was not meant to protect him. The news, media, entertainment industry and more have taken sides on the issues at hand, yet the one thing missing is unity. Jesus showed us that it is not about race, color, creed, gender or anything else for the matter-- but about unity.
When are we going to unify on our standards of education? When are we going to unify on our standards of living? When are we going to unify on our standards of worship? When are we going to unify as humans? When? It is unsettling to see such such promising futures cut short, not by one bullet, but by many. The many bullets and no indictment on numerous accounts, not just the media sensationalized accounts but the everyday accounts, shows the USA as a people divided to all other nations. How so? Wasn't it enough proof that the North Korean president had called the POTUS a "Black monkey in the White House? The USA has shown that it is a color stricken country with no means to an end. The violence has become overwhelmingly outrageous. We as a nation are at fault to some degree. Who are the people that stand in line for a pair of $400+ sneakers, newest iPhone or Samsung gadgets? Who are the people poisoning the minds of our young via the "Reality" TV that depicts people of color as false queens and kings? Who are the people that praise the newest twerk team, yet can't make it to a school recital? Who are the people that spend the most to impress people that could care less about whether you have the next meal on the table for your family? Jesus taught us that our gifts are given to us to uplift US. Then from the uplifting of US through our gifts, we can leave a legacy worth HIS KINGDOM! Not these false clowns in crowns? My son? Yeah, he knows the difference and I will strive everyday to educate him mentally, socially, economically and most importantly spiritually. So go ahead and protest the #Ferguson verdict as you count your pennies to shop #BlackFriday to make the powers that be even more powerful...aka follow the paper trail! Go ahead, and protest #JusticeforTrayvon as you donate to a cause that has nothing to do with your people #IceBucketChallenge. Go ahead and protest #JusticeforSeanBell #AmadouDiallo and the many more faces that made it to media as you dance to that new #HOTN*GGA song! Go ahead and protest #Isis as our young are being gunned down without question, regard or justice. I may seem like I'm all over the place with this post, but that is where my head is. I'm not surprised at all of the verdicts because I see what happened to my Savior Jesus Christ. I do know that His death had, and still has purpose. I know the death of these innocents, now and future, have purpose. Fast, Pray, Act on Purpose. #focusUP #PaperTracers #MyTEARShavePurpose KKDT

I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in His word do I hope. ![]() As humans, we are taught several things about waiting. We learn to take our time with certain things. For example, we are urged to take out time with educational assignments, standardized tests, preparing food and building relationships. Then, on the other hand, we are taught to rush the 'necessaries' and wait for the outcome. Examples of this are: running from the express train to wait for the local, running to the front of the line in a store but still have to wait to scan the sale items or the rushing to an interview to sit in the lobby and wait for your turn. We may hope for many things to go as swiftly and smoothly as possible, or as planned. We also forget what God commands us to do in 1 Peter 1v13, "Wherefore gird up the loins of your mid, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ". We are to be prepared by the minute and by the hour until Jesus Christ comes again. Even with these clear and concise guidelines from Bible, we choose to find our human agenda more important than waiting on the Lord. Sometimes our human agendas are no where close to what God has purposed for us. We ought to sought out the true purpose of our lives from cultivating deep relationships with the Lord. He has all the answers if we can slow down long enough and wait on Him. There will be times in our waiting that we may get discouraged. God has to move some things for our blessings to really show forth their importance not only in your life, but in the lives others. Many people miss their blessings, block their blessings, or are unaware of their blessings due to the rush of the human agenda. We don't have the mental or physical capacity to think and do as the Lord will do (or has done) for us. I ask that you mediate on Hope. Meditate on Faith. Meditate on Purpose. Wishing you Peace, Prosperity & Purpose! KKDT
There are many different cliche sayings about the mind and how it connects to your life as a whole. One is 'A mind is a terrible thing to waste', another is 'The idle mind is the devil's workshop.' The list goes on and on. Lets look at the biblical references of how the mind is connected to life.
Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. Translation: Ever been in an unfavorable life situation and nothing changed until you changed your thought process? Well that is what Romans 12v3 is saying. If you want better, then you must think then do better! Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Translation: Figure out what is truly of importance to self success. Many of the things that are truly important are just a waste of time, mentally, physically and spiritually. James 1:8 He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. Translation: Make up your mind. Nothing can be accomplished by pushing and pulling in two different directions. Isaiah 26:3 You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Translation: Since God is all knowing, all present, all powerful and more, why wouldn't you keep your mind, body and spirit focused on Him? He can definitely keep us in perfect peace serving a God that IS Everything! Do you know that Lacrea has offically tapped into the Hip Hop culture on an international level! ![]() Time can be defined as the measure of a continuum of space. Time as we know it is consistently changing and progressing. We know time doesn't go backwards in any shape, form or fashion. We may on revisit places in time through memory, literature, video and even sickess. We can try to alter time as much as possible, as we do when we set the clock 5-10 minutes faster than real time. We must humble ourselves to time, as we can not change time for any one individual or instance. As you will see in the scripture below, God alotted a time for everything and His Word stands the test of time alone. Read, Relate, Refresh and Redirect your time to align with God's Time...Peace Blessigs and Prosperity I Pray are forever written in your future.....KKDT! Ecclesiastes Chapter 3
To every thing there is a season—Whatever God does, it will be forever—God will judge the righteous and the wicked. 1 To every thing there is a aseason, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; 3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; 5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; 6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; 7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; 8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. 9 What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth? 10 I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it. 11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the workthat God maketh from the beginning to the end. 12 I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life. 13 And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God. 14 I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him. 15 That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past. 16 ¶And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there. 17 I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work. 18 I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts. 19 For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity. 20 All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again. 21 Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth? 22 Wherefore I perceive that there is nothing better, than that a man should rejoice in his own works; for that is his portion: for who shall bring him to see what shall be after him? "Never let any man/woman belittle your true worth." The truth of the matter is that you must know your true worth before you can behave as such. The Word of God explains the true worth of a man and a woman all throughout the text. One book that began my journey to knowing my true worth is the Book of Esther. Ladies read it in it's entirety to know how I have become the Queen my King has destined me to be. Read it and understand why I refuse to settle for less than a TRUE King in my courts. KKDT
Genesis 47v1-5
Often tiems we wonder ho we get into a Spiritual famine. A spiritual famine is when your Spirit Man is hungry for more of the Father but lacks the power to reach Him. During a spiritual famine you will have no progress in your physical and spiritual life. Lack of prayer, wisdom, understanding and even faith. So seriously, how do believers end up in such a state? Let us look at the turn of events that led God's people, the Israelites, into seven years of famine. Joseph, son of Israel was sold by his brothers into Egypt. Joseph then became a favorite to the Pharoah from his interpretations of phrophetic dreams. Two dreams in particular, both nightmares as he called them, be ame the ticket to Joseph's favor forever in Pharoah's heart. This is found in Genesis 41v14-43. During this time, Joseph's people were unaware of the famine coming upon the land. God used Pharoah to send a message to the chosen people of God. It is funny how God can use a non believer to show He is an awesome God. So time came to pass and Egypt had completed all the preparations for the famine: BE PREPARED. Joseph's family was suffering in the land of Caanan because the were not prepared. So why did it take two years of famine for Israel to seek help from Egypt? STUBBORN, SET IN OUR WAYS. Now we have Israel unprepared and stubborn. Sound familiar to you? How often you'd rather watch your favorite tv show than feed your spirit with the Word through meditation? How often you found yourself only praying to God at meal time or when trouble stirs? How often have you committed to Bible Study or Sunday School lessons? How often have you shared the Good News with a neighbor on the bus train, sidewalk, grocery store or wherever you frequent? How often have you fasted and prayed for someone other than yourself? How often have you blessed God with not just your mouth, but with your mind, body and spirit? How often have you witnessed to the power of God through all that is you? How often have you used your spiritual gifts from God to build the Kingdom of God? How often have you tested your finanical faith through tithes and offering? How often have you moved yourself out of the way so God can have ALL the Glory? We can pinpoint where our spiritual famine begins, but how do we become spiritually fatt again? Oh, where did the word fatt (the extra 't') come from? F is for faithful, A is for available, T is for teachable and T is for tenacious. Oh you thought the last 't' was for talented, not so. Lets save my explanation on that for another time. We must be faithful to our connection to the Greatest Spirit of Our Father. We must be available for God's instructions and tasks. Israel was available to pack up and move to Egypt from Caanan in Genesis 47v1-14. We must be teachable, for in all we do for God we learn from God. The Bible teaches us how to speak to God, how to obey God, how to live for God and how to Die for God. The connection we receive from learning such things lays way to the many lessons of the Spirit in our present worlds. Tenacity assures us not to grow weak in our well doing. We must always remember the pain and suffering that Jesus endured before he died for us, and how it is nothing compared to what we are to do for Him and the Trinity daily. I pray this reaches you in a FATT place in your life! If not, I hope this can bring you there! BE BLESSED! 2 Thes. 3v10 roughly states that if a man doesn't work, then he doesn't eat. The same applies for your work in the Kingdom! What does that mean? Well it means that God has given you all the tools you need to tend the land of the Kingdom, now it is time to work the fertile ground.
We are given gifts of the Spirit, but tend to use them for our own purposes. You know, anything else but the edifying of the Kingdom. You can sing, but you are not singing on choir. You can play an instrument, but you are playing in clubs/bars. You can write music, but only write for your own pleasure. You can teach but don't teach the gospel to available listeners. You can dance, but don't dance during worship (praise dance/shout). You can speak, but have a closed mouth during every service (no Halleluiah's or announcements). You can pray, but only pray for unfavorable situations to go away in your own life. And the list goes on and on. So, you wonder why you are not being blessed with a spiritual fatness. Yes I made up a word...lol. But it is true. You aren't working, then you aren't eating. Yea, yea you have a 9-5 and feel like the work in the Kingdom should be left to the 'holier than thou' crowd. I beg to differ. God made us different because there are different jobs for each of us in the Kingdom. Get to work and see how you can Spiritually be Blessed. I promise there will be leftovers for sharing! |
